The Common Room
Making friends as an adult is genuinely hard. Life gets busy, routines shrink, and most social settings feel designed for people who already know someone. This group is for adults who want to change that. No pressure, no awkwardness, just a relaxed space to meet a few new people.
Whether you're new to the area, going through a life change, working from home, or just find it hard to meet people outside of work, you belong here. We keep the groups intentionally small so everyone actually gets to talk.
Common Questions
Q: Do I have to attend every meetup?
A: Not at all. Come when you can. There's no attendance requirement or expectation.
Q: Is this a therapy group?
A: No. It's a social meetup, think of it like a coffee with new people. Mind Forge facilitates a welcoming environment, but this isn't a clinical program.
Q: What happens at a meetup?
A: Casual conversation in a comfortable setting. Sometimes we'll have a loose activity or prompt to get things going.
Q: Is it really free?
A: Yes. This is a community program run through Mind Forge Play and supported by locals. All donations are welcome to keep the programs going.
Parent Play Dates
Who says play dates are just for kids? Mind Forge's adult play dates are your excuse to get out, meet other local parents, and actually enjoy yourself while the little ones do what they do best right beside you.
Outings
Mind Forge outings are a chance to explore your community with good people by your side. Think wine tastings, farmers market crawls, coffee dates, local events and whatever else sounds fun. Low-key, adult-only, and always a great excuse to get out of the house.
